Recent Paintings and Projects, Fall 2026
I am pleased to share some of my recently completed paintings and projects this fall.
This is the second time I’ve worked in a circular format this year, and the commission offered an opportunity to create artwork for a local project. This painting was developed for a local hotel in Charleston in collaboration with Whitaker Art Consulting.
Untitled as of yet · 52-inch diameter · sand and acrylic on canvas · 2026
This is a color study I initially created for the painting above. I usually begin each commission with a color study to establish the palette, color relationships, and texture.
September · 82 × 52 inches · sand and acrylic on canvas · 2026
One of the largest paintings I created this year, this work was developed in collaboration with AXIOM Fine Art Consulting and Hastings Woodward Design of Los Angeles, California. To me, the palette suggests sunlight returning after a storm, balancing muted tones with brighter passages of color.
Blue Hour · 60 × 30 inches · sand and acrylic on canvas · 2026
Untitled as of yet · 40 × 60 inches · sand and acrylic on canvas · 2026
This pair was commissioned for a hospital in Florida in collaboration with Art Expressions. In these works, I focused on a spectrum of bright color, gradual transitions, and heavy layers of sand and acrylic. I particularly like the depth and variation in texture I was able to achieve.

This is a small selection of over 20 paintings on paper I created for Norwegian Cruise Line. The paintings will be photographed for mural-sized reproductions that will extend across areas of the ship’s interior.

I shared the paintings from this project in my last newsletter, and I’m happy to share a few views of them installed in the Mayo Clinic corporate collection in Rochester, Minnesota. These paintings were created in collaboration with Skyline Art.
